I wanted to follow up on my post from last week which included my top 3 cold remedies and expand it to children’s health. Having an almost 2 year old, I’ve come to see how susceptible our little ones can be with all the germs they’re exposed to during cold/flu season!
1. Vital Nutrients Berry Well Immune Support Powder: great overall immune support for the little ones. It contains elderberry, arabinogalactan and other herbs to help boost immunity as well as fight off infections. I’ve added it to straight water but also have added it to applesauce and homemade immune ice pops!

2. Bronchial Wellness Herbal Syrup for Kids by Gaia Herbs: My love for Gaia Herbs products runs deep, especially for their elderberry syrup! I’ve recently come across this product since my little one was sick and I was impressed with the results. It contains Plantain, Grindelia and some other herbs to promote healthy mucous membranes and overall support for the respiratory system. My little ones cough subsided within a day!
3. Nordic Naturals Vitamin C Gummies: these are tasty vitamin c chewables (tastes like a sour patch kid!) and a great way to get vitamin C into your little ones. Vitamin C contributes to immune defense by supporting various cellular functions that protect against pathogens trying to invade the body. It also helps to speed up wound healing. If you’re deficient, it can make you even more susceptible to infections.
Hope these can help protect your littles from the germs going around this season!
